Bus Systems Analysis Spec (15207) – Lubbock

Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Lubbock, Texas.

Job Responsibilities:
The Business Systems Analyst translates business requirements into functional specifications & oversees requests for changes to those specifications.

• Serves as a direct liaison to functional process owners in order to translate requirements for assigned area of project & maintenance work.
  
• Assists business in determining which business requirements can/should be automated & how they integrate with other business & technical processes.
  
• Assists on cross-functional, cross-organizational projects.
  
  Required Skills:
  
• 2 years experience as Business Analyst
  
• 2 years experience in a Project Management role responsible for operational risks
  
• 2 years exp. analyzing data, gathering/defining business requirements, identifying/resolving issues
  
• 2 years exp. reporting to Project Management with formalized process producing high quality documentation
  
• Mental Characteristics: Must be able to exercise appropriate judgment when assessing the needs of the client and determine the resolution best suited for the situation. Requires a high level of initiative and independence. Handle concurrent or multiple tasks/projects efficiently.
  
• Physical Characteristics: Vision sufficient to read standard text, read a computer monitor and to drive; speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably in person, over the telephone and in small groups; independent body mobility to stand, sit, walk, stoop, and bend to access a standard office environment; manual dexterity to use hands, arms and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and to write. Body strength sufficient to lift up to 25 pounds. Able to work in an office environment, on field assignments and occasionally drive to other locations and work evenings or weekends for special situations.
  
  Desired Skills:
  
• The ideal candidate will have a broad cross section of analytical, technical, business and management skills
  
• Prior experience improving business processes
  
• Prior experience in Healthcare Environment
  
  Minimum Educational Requirements:
  
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
